We romped around Union Square and the Embarcadero with Ramon and Ruzzel, finding various alleys and side streets, which is my favorite way to scope out spots for photos.
Ruzzel and Ramon totally rocked this session, and they are such genuine people. We can’t wait to cover their wedding in April!

Jen and Red are really good friends of ours, and the news of their engagement gave us butterflies. We were so stoked to work with them for this shoot. Jen is a teacher and has access to a classroom, so we just let the ideas flow.
Thanks for rockin’ the day with us. We had so much fun.

Jess and Hugo are in the same graduate program as Danny (of Danny + Fredacille) and we were so glad when they called on us to cover their big day as well.
Hugo’s own words, “if you can make Danny look good, then you’re hired.”
Emma and I had a great time shooting this couple because 1) they were so easy to shoot and 2) we got to take them to some of our favorite spots.

Me, “What do you guys do…when you’re not posing for us??”
Him, “I’m a scientist.”
Me, “Way cool.”
Internal dialogue: Holy string theory, Batman. If cloning becomes legal, I wonder if he would give me a good discount.
After 5 days of treacherous rains that soaked good jeans and flooded parking lots, we had one awesome day. Full of sun and magnificent clouds, and a couple that made PDA look so awesomelly awesome.
So awesome in fact that we brought along an assistant for day (thanks Percy!!) so that i could shoot. Usually, Al makes me the mobile light stand. But this day, I got to break out my gear and join in the pure awesomeness.

Whimsy Floral was recently featured on the Utah Bride blog, and showcased one of our photos from Katy and Nolan’s wedding.
