We just finished our last wedding for the year, and what a great year it was.
Thanks to all the families and couples who allowed us to share time with them. You rock!
2010 is looking like a great year. So great that Emma has informed me that we’re merely a few weddings away from not having to take the job my mother in law lined up, just in case the “photography thing” didn’t work out.
Here’s a snapshot of my two most favorite people in the world. (Let’s not mention the fact that Ella’s shirt is on backwards. True Salom.)

“We should get in shape for Kara and Bernard’s wedding,” he says
“I know. They’ll run circles around us and our gear. Dang marathoners!” I answer
“Wanna go get frozen yogurt instead?”
“I thought you’d never ask!”
Kara and Bernard are such awesome clients. In fact, I should stop calling them clients as we definitely consider them good friends.
They got married on a cold, rainy day in November; it seemed the weather was direct opposite to the warm and friendly guests we met throughout the day.
DJ Bernard and cute Kara, congratulations and thanks for having us cover your most awesome day!

Here’s part II of our stay at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. I don’t have as many pictures as Emma, party because I drove the whole way there (Emma tried driving for around an hour, but freaked everyone out in the care as she shrieked everytime a big rig got close to her). So I was asleep for most of our stay, but it is indeed a very unique place to stay.

On our way to my sister’s house for Thanksgiving, we stopped by the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. What a wonderful treasure! It was utterly picture perfect. It is definitely the Urban Outfitters of hotels. In fact, it was so picture perfect that Al and I are doing a 2-part post. One from his camera and the other from mine.
The following set was taken by yours truly (Emma). I got up early to roam the grounds and so I could enjoy a bike ride around the town.
I am crossing my fingers that we’ll get to cover a wedding here some day!
