We met Lisa and Eller through our studio manager and niece, Belle.
They had a sweet ceremony at the fantabulous Wente vineyards in Livermore.
Their wedding at Wente was a perfect reflection of them, from the vibrant colors of their florals to the Jones soda pop and guitar picks on the tables. Gentle hints of what makes them, “them”. They were just so relaxed about everything, and it shows in their pictures. Their wedding was filled with gentle smiles, stolen kisses, and the occasional wrestle hold.
Me: I wish we were as cool as them.
Him: We’re cool.
Me: I think the fact that we’re having a conversation about being cool makes us un-cool.
Ceremony/Reception: Wente Vineyards
Florals: Hien Nguyen of Flower and Paper

Hannah has a big birthday coming up, so her mom scheduled a mini session and boy did she rock it.
Red wall? Check! Cupcake? Check! Cowboy hat? Check!

I asked Alfred what he wanted for Father’s Day. He said he wanted to go to a workshop, but wasn’t sure which one.
Me, “Of all the photographers that you follow, whom would you like to hang out with the most?”
Him, “Oly.”
At that time, Oly of (www.mymetrophoto.com) didn’t have a set workshop in California anytime soon, he had no idea who we were, and we didn’t even know if he’d be on this side of the globe any time soon (he’s based out of Manila). So, I took it upon myself to cold call (well, cold email) him. He was so nice and happened to be in San Francisco for a wedding in June, so I worked some awesome magicness and contacted amazing Joanne Tan of the Hotel Whitcomb and Hothouse San Francisco 2010 was born.
We had such an awesome time.

Classmates. Here I am rockin’ my “pop n lock”.

Here are some of my shots (Alfred checking out his shot. The tongue must mean it’s fantabulous.)

Even rock stars need help getting up on very high ledges.

John and Janice are friends and coworkers of rockstar bride Rana, so we were super stoked to be covering their wedding.
This was such a fun shoot, because John and Janice are so comfortable to be around. Engagement sessions are our chance to get to know our couples better. Are they funny, quirky, romantic, artsy, or urbanites? John and Janice were definitely a combination of funny, quirky, and romantic. I hope their photos do them justice.
I can’t wait until their wedding!
