Hi. I’m Alfred. My wife, Emma, and I are wedding photographers based out of the San Francisco area.
I’ve been taking pictures since I was in my twenties. Without revealing my age, I’ll just say…it’s been a long time. I was blessed with a father who was an avid photographer. I started with children and family photography, with a wedding here and there (most of which were done on film). But, when the wedding inquiries increased, Emma decided that I should take this hobby up a notch. So, I took second shooting gigs for wedding photographers around the bay (and still do on occasion), and did as many weddings as I could whilst holding down a full time job. Now, I’ve taken this full time! I could never have imagined that it would take off this quickly, or that the journey would be so rewarding.
Not only does Emma handle all the business stuff for me, but she also started her photography journey in 2007. Since then, she’s blossomed into a great photographer. She’s my main second shooter and her style compliments mine very well. None of this would have been possible without her. She is definitely the brain and heart behind ASP.
