Thank you Nesta and Unity (love these names!) for spending the morning with your new “Tito Alfred”.
Ask Sir Nesta about the Milky Way and he will blow you away with big words like quasars and binary systems. I had to do some googling when I got home!
P.S. I’m loving the new art installments in the form of pianos that are all around the city.

Sometimes, in the blur of wedding season, personal projects get shelved. For weeks now, Emma had this little post-it tacked to my monitor and it read:
design the banff album…please!
Here are some of my favorite spreads for such a much-needed trip. The breather really helped us gear up for phase II of wedding season. Now on to phase III!
Excellently and awesomely designed album by me!

I recently had the pleasure of second shooting for a friend of ours, Jessie Cho. I had a great time with Jesse and Jeff and the wedding party was so much fun. The bride and groom could not have been nicer.

I’ve been shooting a lot of family sessions and newborns lately, while Emma notices a lot of new album orders. Hmm…what does this mean? The holidays are near! Ella already has her long Christmas list ready. In fact, we knocked one off the list when she nearly had a heart attack when she found a Pillow Pet on one of our errand runs. The squeals that emerged from her tiny frame melted my heart, and against Emma’s fair warning that I shouldn’t give in every time she gushes over something soft and fluffly….I got her a puppy pillow pet. Can you blame me?
Mary, Mike, and Matthew were so awesome to photograph. They even let me incorporate some flash flavor into their awesome family session.

You might remember Jen and Red’s schoolyard engagement session. We got to attend their wedding as guests…yes guests! We were beyond stoked to be a part of their wedding. They wanted to keep everything real casual like, so they didn’t have a professional photographer, so we were able to sneak in shots of our own.
Such a classic, backyard wedding. Casual with a dash of Antrhopologie.

Yup, Emma even dressed to match the colors.
