Thanks to the gals over at Style Unveiled for featuring Ruzzel and Ramon’s fantabulous wedding over on their most awesome blog.

In the midst of the chaos that comes with wedding season, we find time to schedule our site visits. We like to visit venues that we’re covering, mostly to get familiar with the area so that on wedding day, we don’t turn to each other and say

Uh, duh, where was that exit?

Site visits are also for family time. For adventuring to places that we would ordinarily not visit, and for the cost of time and gas, we get to take a break from the busy and just breath.

Jessica over at The Budget Savvy Bride featured Jessica and Hugo’s Stanford wedding. I’m thrilled to be able to share this intimate and very heartfelt wedding with a larger audience.

We had an appointment in Orinda, Ca today and couldn’t resist stopping when we saw a sign that said Republic of Cake.

My favorite was the Pecan Sticky Bun.
