So much to the PR people of Castello di Amorosa for letting us shoot there; it was truly a treat.
Thanks to MaryLouise and Bernard for being so awesome during this shoot. Emma and I had an awesome time! We can’t wait to rock your wedding in a few weeks!

Theresa and Stan booked us way back when we were still meeting clients in coffee houses and tea lounges (we’ve since moved client meetings into the dedicated first floor of our home), and we were super excited to see them again.
They wanted to start of at the Legion of Honor, as it was there that Stan bravely attempted to hold Theresa’s hand for the first time. We’re glad she took his hand. The rest is history.

Before their engagement session, JoAn told us that like like art, food, and music and wanted engagement photos that reflected that. Let’s hope we got it right!
They told us they wanted to try a picnic engagement session in San Francisco. We managed to find a really good, hidden spot, for picnic picture taking. We love when we can find areas that are not crowded (San Francisco, crowded? Really?) so that our couples can relax and not worry about people gawking as they get their PDA on. Then, we hit some of JoAn and Fredo’s favorite spots in the city.
JoAn and Fredo ~~ Thanks for spending the afternoon with us, we had a great time!

Joan and Fredo found a nice cupcake shop and incorporated them into the shoot…oh and we got to take
the cupcakes back home with us. Score.

One of our favorite segments from the day were done in front of a random house. The expression on
JoAn’s face is just sublime.

Fredo produces his own beats, so they brought some of them for props.

John and Janice are friends and coworkers of rockstar bride Rana, so we were super stoked to be covering their wedding.
This was such a fun shoot, because John and Janice are so comfortable to be around. Engagement sessions are our chance to get to know our couples better. Are they funny, quirky, romantic, artsy, or urbanites? John and Janice were definitely a combination of funny, quirky, and romantic. I hope their photos do them justice.
I can’t wait until their wedding!
