Hannah has a big birthday coming up, so her mom scheduled a mini session and boy did she rock it.

I got to spend an afternoon with Tin-Tin. Boy, was she awesome!!!
Ella got a new outfit, so we decided to go out for a mini session. Alfred even tagged along as my “assistant” for the day.
We just wrapped up our first event for 2010. It was 6 hours long and it kicked our butts.
We did gain a little bit of holiday weight, so we blame all the turkey.
But, with the exhaustion, comes the joy and the warmth that comes when you get a shot like this:

Amy and Josh were my second mini session of the day. When Amy introduced me to their kids, I had to do a double take.
“Hannah and Ethan, really?”
Trinh and Sang’s kids, just moments before, were also Hannah and Ethan. What a coincidence!
This was my first time working with this family, and if you photograph kids, you know that there’s an introductory period. A time when you have to get the kids on your side. There’s no better way to get kids on your side then to have them jump up onto their parents shoulders and …. pick their parents noses.
Can’t wait to work with these guys again!
