We had an appointment in Orinda, Ca today and couldn’t resist stopping when we saw a sign that said Republic of Cake.
My favorite was the Pecan Sticky Bun.

Good Times
We recently celebrated a big birthday for Alfred. We had dinner with some of our friends at Tigelleria in Campbell.
They are most known for their cutting boards, and oh boy was it yummy. From the freshly made pastas to the organic ingredients, everything was an absolute treat.
Ella New Outfit
Ella got a new outfit, so we decided to go out for a mini session. Alfred even tagged along as my “assistant” for the day.
Food Coma
Contrary to hearsay, Al and I really do try to curb the munchies. However, studio manager Belle keeps finding yummy treats for us to try!!
First was a yummy chocolate bar that rudely read “It’s Not for Girls”. Harumph! {Sidenote: So yummy!}
The chocolate wine was questionable. Although I think chocolate tastes good in most forms, I wasn’t feeling the chocolate and the hard liquor combo. The pomegranate wine spritzer, however, was soooo UPPPP my alley!
Don’t Call and Drive
My dad called the other day to chit chat with his granddaughter, Ella.
Ella, “Hi Papu. What are you doing?”
Papu, “I’m driving home from work, honey.”
Ella, “Then why you on the phone? You can’t call on the phone when you’re driving. You might die!”
Papu, “Okay honey, now give the phone to your mommy.”
Me, “Yeah, dad?”
Papu, “She has a way of making you listen.”
Me, “Yup. Now call us back when you’re not driving.”
