You might remember Jen and Red’s schoolyard engagement session. We got to attend their wedding as guests…yes guests! We were beyond stoked to be a part of their wedding. They wanted to keep everything real casual like, so they didn’t have a professional photographer, so we were able to sneak in shots of our own.

Marci and Dave had a picturesque wedding at the lovely Brazilian room in Tilden park, Berkeley.
David and Marci gave us ample time to take pictures, and the light was just perfect. We could not have asked for more.

As with almost all Jewish weddings, Emma and I braced ourselves for the “opening of the dance floor,” because the flurry and chaos that follows is almost always a treat—but you can easily get lost in a sea of guests and floating chairs. Marci and Dave’s family did not disappoint. What a fun group!

This was our first time shooting in the Santa Clara University Mission and it was so lovely. Candles lit all around. LOVED IT!
Steph and Josh had such a lovely wedding, filled with smiles and jars of candy. How could you go wrong?
Emma and I split up again for the first part of this wedding. She got to hang out with the guys, and David and I were there for Stephanie and her girls. We love seeing how each of our sets of photos turns out at the end of the day.

We don’t always get to take a picture with the bride and groom, so when we do…we love to share them! Here’s one from Melanie and Brandon’s wedding at San Francisco City Hall. We got to dress down a little (don’t worry, Alfred almost NEVER wears jeans to a wedding–I won’t let him). This is also the last appearance of my beloved red ballet flats. I literally wore them out (that’s what I get for wearing them to 3, ten hour weddings and 4 engagement sessions).
