Leilani + Marcel {Wedding, San Ramon Bridges, St. Joseph Fremont}

Leilani will always hold a special place in my heart and in fact, I still have her initial voicemail tucked away.  She contacted us in the early months of our wedding business, speaking in a hurried, excited tone. Gleaming over how she enjoyed our pictures and wanted to chat ASAP. Prior to this, Al was just a portrait photographer trying to gain footing in wedding photography. Our first set of weddings were all “take a chance on us” weddings. After we had proven ourselves with those, it was a breath of fresh air to listen to a bride who knew we could do it and we could actually hear the enthusiasm in her voice. She doesn’t know this, but we were so excited to meet her! And, our first meeting was a double dose of happiness as Marcel is just as cool as Leilani.

Consider Emma and Al official fans of Marcel and Leilani. Their awesomeness just jumps off the page.

June 5, 2009 - 11:32 pm Mike - San Francisco Wedding Photographer - Nice photos! The Bridges Club is a great place to shoot. Looks like a fun couple and a beautiful wedding.

June 7, 2009 - 3:54 pm lei esguerra - (I would like for Emma and Al to post this on their site so that anyone and everyone could hear a true testament) Emma and Al cannot possibly be fans of ours. In fact, it is the other way around. Emma is genuine, organized, straight to the point, honest, and provides suggestions for unexpected/unplanned situations. She claims that Al calls her Hitler, because she is so on top of things, while he sometimes chooses to play with his Xbox - haha! If this "she-Hitler" allowed me to have such beautiful pictures, then I consider that a compliment. Al is funny, easy going, creative, and possesses an honest work ethic. These two don't just "take shots" they take the real shots. I was worried that Al would take only a certain fixed number of shots, but during our E-session, he wanted to take more. That in itself, is proof of the work ethic of this husband and wife team. My husband (yikes! still getting used to it) and I are so happy that they were there for us. The Saloms were an integral part of our engagement and wedding day. They guided us, they tipped us regarding food in the limo, they accommodated us, they assured us, they made us comfortable, they invited us to their house, they took care of us in every sense (sorta like how an ate and kuya take care of their own). In our book, they deserve accolades. I will gladly provide my contact information for anyone who is interested in working with these two wonderful people (email: pineda@teacher.com). I don't have to write a novel about how great these two are, the wedding pictures and slideshow are a true testament of their hardwork, artistry, and their ability to capture the most precious moments.
