Sarah and Aki had a very intimate ceremony. When I say intimate, I mean intimate. Just an officiant, the couple, and immediate family.
Short and sweet.

There’s no doubt about the amount of love that these two have for each other. Everytime I asked that they smooch, they willingly obliged.

It was SO cold that day, but Sarah was such a trooper.

Can you say, fashion fabulous? Tom and Joy were dressed so well I thought there was paparazzi behind me. Having their picture taken professionally was a first for them but they did an awesome job in front of the lens posing, smiling, and just being themselves. They also had the confidence and the closeness that made it easy for me.
I felt like going home to get rid of my Old Navy sweater and put on my Gap one. Just kidding, I had Aeropostale on. I know, fancy. hehe.
We had a great time in downtown San Jose. It was a cold day but they kept their composure and style.

During my spare time (all three hours of them) I play around with Photoshop trying to learn new styles and techniques. I’ve always liked textures and balls of lights, and try to incorporate them in my pictures to make them more fun. Here’s a little sample. I hope all my blog fans (all three of you) like it.

We all couldn’t have asked for better weather, on an October day.
This bunch has to be the most down to earth bunch of people I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending eight hours with. They were so easy to work with that, all the group pictures…including the one of ALL of them…were done in under 15 minutes. The couple shots with Anne and Brian? Emma timed it down to 30 minutes for 2 locations, including a 5 minute trek up and down the beach carrying 20 pounds of equipment and a 5 minute drive to the reception.
Side note: Emma is a stickler about keeping the bride and groom on time so they can enjoy their guests.
I also managed to practice my powers of hypnotism, as their friends were so agreeable with everything that I asked of them.
Even Emma had powers of hypnotism, as she asked these two guys to joust with two very large poles.

Emma here for the post-wedding commentary. Usually, Alfred would be doing this, but Ella and I have locked him in his office until he comes out with all of Katy and Nolan’s edited pictures. He sometimes gets water and a slice of bread—but only on good days.
Nolan and Katy met over a bag of Oreos. How cute is that? Their wedding was just as adorable and romantic as their first meeting, and their first date—swinging on swings.
Not a dry eye to be seen.

We had one of our Short and Sweet weddings (3 hours) last Sunday for a lovely couple, John and Molly. Our services were a gift to them from a close friend. What a sweet, and thoughtful gift.
Hats, hats, and more hats! Loved it. The coziness of the ceremony, mixed in with the beauty of the surroundings made for such a sweet wedding.
Molly was such a lovely, and playful bride. I just wish I had more time with her! I never knew three hours could fly by so fast (squeezing 15 minute formals here and there).
Just a note to my future couples, it’s good to have at least 45-60 minutes set aside for formals. The time is so worth it! I understand that this isn’t possible with the shorter weddings, so I try to squeeze everything into 15-20 minute increments.
